Attractions in town
Ardrossan and District Historical Museum is located on the Fifth Street. The stump jump plough of the late 1800`s was invented here. Restored plough is on display on cliffs in East Tce.
Attractions in the area
Ardrossan has salt and dolomite mines. BHP Lookout is located 2 km to the south of Ardrossand has excellent views of Gulf Street Vincent. Zanomi wreck present off the coast and located approximately 20 km to the South East of Ardrossan is an excellent spot for divers (permission from the Department for Environmental and Heritage is essential though). Clinton Conservation Park located 40 km to the north has tidal shallows which attracts migratory water birds.
