Caravan parks are located right around Australia . Most are in rural and regional areas but they can also be found in capital cities. Staying in a caravan park doesn't mean having to tow a caravan whilst travelling.
As well as powered or unpowered caravan sites, many parks also have on-site caravans or cabins available.
Facilities provided at caravan parks can vary greatly. Some parks provide just the basics of a van site, and toilet and shower facilities. These are usually found in country areas where most travellers are just passing through. Other parks may provide facilities such as en-suite sites, a store, gas bottle refills, laundry facilities, barbecues or camp kitchen, playground, swimming pool, internet café, or recreation room.
Per night rates for two people are generally in the range of $15 to $40 for a powered site, $30 to $60 for an on-site van, and $40 to $80 for a cabin.
