Eating out in Perth: Six of the best

Experiences in Australia

Located on the Western Coast of Australia, Perth is a spectacular location for fresh regional produce andshore-caught seafood. Though one of the most remote cities in the world, it's possible to sample authentic dishes originating from China, Korea, Japan, Turkey, Italy and Malaysia within city limits. Factor in Perth's proximity to some prolific wine regions in the Margaret River area, and choosing a restaurant becomes a formidable affair. With cheap flights to Perth easier to hunt down than ever, and its popularity as a tourist destination growing by the year, now all that's left is to figure out where to go first...

Bistro Felix: Offering an ever-changing range of dishes to sample, this Central Business District Bistro offers an exquisite selection which demonstrates the bounty of the region. Simple dishes such as wild mushroom risotto and corn-fed chicken are presented with European panache; décor is minimal but ambient, and mains are around $35.

Restaurant Amusé: Awash with fine dining accolades, this highly lauded eatery begs attention from aspiring gourmands.
