Forster is connected by a bridge to its twin town Tuncurry across the Wallis Lake. This town is located amidst the Great lakes district. Forester – Tuncurry is famous for fishing and oysters.

Attractions in the town
Launch and boats can be hired for deep sea fishing. On the Breese parade Forester arts and craft center is located. Tobwabba Art studio is located on the corner of Breckenridge and Little street which specializes in urban coastal Aboriginal art. Dolphins spotting cruises are available in tuncurry and they can also be seen from Tuncurry break wall and Bennets head. Food enthusiasts can be delighted with Oyster festival in the month of October.

Attractions in the area
Nature and Eco tours of Great lakes area tour the visitors. Curtis collection located 3 km to the south of Forster-Tuncurry has museum of vintage cars. Cape Hawke is located 8 km to the south of Forster-tuncurry which has views of Wallis Lake, seal rocks and it is an inland to great diving range. Green Cathedral at Tiona near the shores of Wallis Lake has open air churches with pews and altar; it is located 13 km to the south of Forster-Tuncurry.


Ton Of Fun (Forster-Tuncurry)

An amusement park which really is a ton of fun especially for families with children of all ages. There’s a decent size lake with activities such as canoeing, paddle boats and aqua bikes. Plenty of rides including waterslides, go carts, quad bikes, mini train rides and putt putt golf. Open from 10:00am- 4:00pm on weekends. Children under 3 years have free entry.

Another great family amusement park with everything from waterslides to toboggan rides, quad bikes to a swimming pool, beach volleyball park, trampolines and a tennis court. Make use of the barbeque and picnic facilities and make a day of family fun.
Open weekends from 10:00am- 4:00pm. Children under 3 years have free entry.

Little Darlings Doll Museum and Coffee Shop (Forster-Tuncurry)

Joan Ashard is a doll fanatic and offers her doll collection on display at the Little Darlings Doll Museum and Coffee Shop. Every doll you can think of from Barbies to cabbage patch dolls to ragdolls and character dolls- Joan has them all. There are even clowns, teddy bears and trolls.
