At the southern end of the Barossa valley Lyndoch is located. Lyndoch is an hour drive from Adelaide and it is one of the oldest town`s in the State of Adelaide.
Attractions in town
Stone mill wheel which was established in the year 1855 is on display in Flebig Square. Buildings built during mid -1800`s are present in Lyndoch and are built from locally quarried hard ironstone.
Attractions in the area
Helicopter and balloon flights are conducted in Lyndoch. Wineries are most open for tastings and cellar-door sales and present to the north of the town. Some of the wineries located in the area are Kies Family Winery, Charles Cimicky Wines and Chateau Yaldara Estate (tours are organized), etc.
At Rowland Flat which is 5 km to the north east of the town Jenke Vineyard Cellars, Miranda Wines and Orlando Wines are present.
Barossa Reservoir and Whispering Wall are located 8 km to the South West of Lyndoch which has acoustic phenomenon allowing messages whispered at one end to be audible at the other end present at 140 m away. Lyndoch Lavender Farm is located 6 km to the South East which has over 30 varieties of lavender.
