Noosa National Park

Experiences in Australia

Noosa National Park, located on Queensland's sunshine coast, 160km north of Brisbane is an expanse of spectacular coastal scenery which provides an important habitat for native wildlife including koalas, black cockatoos, ground parrots and wallum froglets. Dolphins and whales can regularly be seen close to the shore.

The park is divided into four main sections: the Headland, the Perigian, the Emu Mountain and the East Weyba. The headland section is the most visited, as it is so easy to reach from the town and provides fantastic views of the coastline and the surfers enjoying the waves for which Noosa is renowned. There are a number of walks to suit all ages and abilities.

The most spectacular walk is the Coastal Track which is 5.4 kilometres long and skirts the shoreline. There are many picturesque views to be enjoyed on this route.

There are several picnic areas in the park and public toilets. There is a huge range of accommodation to choose from in and around Noosa town.

Noosa National Park can be reached on foot, directly from Noosa's town centre.
