Warragul is in West Gippsland between Drouin and Yarragon and 110km southeast from Melbourne. Warragul has a shopping area that is fairly large along Victoria Street and Smith Street.
The Old Shire Hall is where you will find the Historical Society Museum which is located on Queen Street where there are a number of other historical buildings.
Warragul is home to several parks and gardens including the Civic Park which has a large lake and waterfall. Other features of the park are a rotunda and walking tracks with picnic areas.
Brandy Creek Road offers a scenic drive north with its green hills until Neerim South where you will find the Tango Reservoir. This is a popular place with a walking path along the dam wall and BBQ and picnic facilities.
There is a Gourmet Deli Trail that encompasses the town through a network of farms, vineyards and local produce.
