How Australiae Guide is researched
Editorial policy for Australiae Guide: public sources only, no invented prices or quotes, park and Home Affairs pages win in a conflict.
We publish independent, practical information about visiting Australia. We are not a booking agent. Where a topic is YMYL — visas, health, biosecurity, driving law — we summarise the official source and link it. We do not invent processing times, premiums or medical advice.
Each guide starts with the questions it must answer in a first sentence. We draft in Australian English, then check claims against Home Affairs, DCCEEW, UNESCO, Parks Australia, BOM, DAFF, Triple Zero and state parks pages. Images illustrate landscape. They are not evidence of today’s track closure.
Trademarks remain with their owners. Mention is not endorsement. If we ever publish a labelled affiliate link, it will be labelled. Payment never decides a sentence.
What this e-guide will not print
Live hotel rates, barge clocks, “from $99” widgets and league tables of tours. Operators change those figures. We describe the landscape and point at the agency page. If a number is on this site, it is a public inscription date, a visa subclass, an emergency number, or another fact you can open on a .gov.au URL.
Facts on this page are drawn from public sources including https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder, https://www.dcceew.gov.au/parks-heritage/heritage/places/world-heritage-list, https://parksaustralia.gov.au/. Historic australiaeguide.com.au PHP and WordPress paths inform the URL map — not live prices, rankings or 2019–2024 shopping posts. Confirm visas, park alerts and opening hours on the official page before you travel.
